Wind Turbine Technician boot camp
At the culmination of Pinnacle Career Institute’s Wind Turbine Technician program, students can attend an exciting, hands-on boot camp experience at Texas State Technical College’s campus in Sweetwater, Texas. TSTC is considered a leader in innovative wind power training and Sweetwater is home to one of the largest concentrations of wind turbines in the world.
Over the course of 12 days, students can learn about a wide range of topics such as:
- Personal rigging and harness safety
- Systems and crane rigging safety
- Electrical components and systems safety
- Mechanical and hydraulic safety
- Rescue techniques and responses
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
